With a lively and exuberant style and a passion for color and lettering, Jeanine creates art for children’s books, greeting cards, editorial clients, ad campaigns, home decor products, and more. In 2003 she received her BFA in illustration from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia and began her career in the big publishing houses of New York City. She worked at both Penguin Books and Simon & Schuster designing and art directing children’s books, working with a range of artists, photographers, and designers, and gaining a thorough understanding of the creative collaborative process. All the while, she moonlighted as an illustrator, building her own portfolio and style and after a decade, Jeanine took the leap from corporate world into freelance to expand creative opportunities and start a family. She has since returned to her hometown of Pittsburgh where she lives with her family and works from her home studio. close
