Matthew Cooper studied illustration at Harrow School of Art and since graduating has worked as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. His illustrative work utilizes a range of techniques and media; collage and found imagery find a home with photography, hand painted and drawn elements. He is particularly interested in the use of typographic and strong graphic forms within his work. Alongside his illustration work, Matthew works as a freelance graphic designer, primarily for the music sector. Projects range from sleeve design to the design of adverts, merchandise, and promotional material. He has worked with such luminaries as Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Four Tet, Caribou, The Go-Betweens, Floating Points, These New Puritans, Noel Gallagher, Primal Scream, Roddy Frame and Paul McCartney to name just a few. close
