My work begins with hand-drawn compositions using pencil or pen on paper which I develop and finish digitally. Drawing inspiration from film, books, comics and Ukiyo-e as well as nature at it’s most epic, the images are narrative-driven and I like to use bold colour and play with light to create drama and atmosphere. As a Merit Winner of the 3x3 Professional Show my work has been published in 3x3 Magazine Annual No.13. I was a winner of the 58th Communication Arts Illustration Competition and will be featured in the Illustration Annual published in May 2017. I am a member of the Association of Illustrators (AOI).
